Shelley neville voice

Whether in concert, opera, or theatre, SHELLEY NEVILLE enchants audiences with her "1000-watt smile", her sumptuous voice and engaging presence. Theatre Highlights: Doralee in Dolly Parton's 9 to 5, Madam Thenardier in Les Miserables (Atlantic Light Theatre), Patsy Cline in Just a Closer Walk with Patsy Cline, Sister Hubert in Nunsense, Woman 1 in I Love You, You're Perfect... Now Change (Spirit of Newfoundland), Rosie in Mamma Mia and Bird Woman in Mary Poppins (Theatre St. John's). Shelley has sung with the COC chorus, the NO and her own highly successful Production of 0 Holy Night.

Neville holds a Master degree in Music in Performance and Pedagogy and teaches voice at Memorial University. She is a sought after clinician and festival adjudicator.

Shelley has received the Emerging Leaders Award from NATS, as well as the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal, with long time singing partner Peter Halley, for their contributions to Canadian culture. Her singing has taken her to Italy, Germany, France, England, Ireland, across Canada and to most towns and coves in Newfoundland and Labrador. Shelley's townie roots are thrilled to share our beloved COME FROM AWAY in Gander this summer playing the role of Beulah.
